The SCQ is embarking on a new style of concert designed to engage the ears and minds of babies and their big people in a peaceful space where everyone can relax and enjoy some live classical music.

In this short concert the quartet will perform a selection of soothing classics including Satie's meditative Gymnopédie, Schumann's peaceful Träumerei from his selection of pieces titled Scenes from Childhood, as well as Brahms’ enduringly popular Lullaby. The SCQ will also perform their own arrangement of Manuel de Falla’s Nana from Suite Populaire Espagnole - a hauntingly beautiful lullaby sung by a grandmother to baby grandchild.
